DoW:DE Stats tracks publicly available match statistics for Dawn of War: Definitive Edition, taken from Relic Entertainment's public leaderboard API and from replay files players upload themselves. Leaderboards, player profiles and match history are public by nature - anyone can look up any player, the same way Relic's own leaderboards work.
Reading the site never needs an account. An account can be created through Steam, or with a username and password here; what is stored is the identifier that sign-in returns, your display name and your avatar.
The Windows uploader watches your local replay folder and uploads new replay files to your account, identified by the API token you paste into it from your account page. A replay file contains what Dawn of War itself records - players, races, map, actions. Nothing else on your computer is read.
The site sets a session cookie to keep you signed in, and remembers your chosen language and theme the same way. It also runs Google Tag Manager and Yandex Metrika, including Yandex's Webvisor session-replay feature, for traffic and usage statistics. Nothing is shared with anyone beyond those providers.
Replays you upload are public, along with their notes and event tags, and so are chat messages, poll votes and anything submitted for review such as tournament news. Treat all of it as visible to everyone.
You can delete your account yourself from the account page - that removes the account and what is tied to it. For anything else, including unlinking Steam, revoking an API token, or a question about what is stored, write through the support form.
